Our Story
N.A.K. Enterprises was born during one of the most challenging times of my life — the COVID-19 pandemic. In the years leading up to it, I suffered unimaginable losses: my beloved son Neville, whose life was tragically taken by gun violence, and my baby brother Keion, who passed away three years earlier. The “N” and “K” in N.A.K. honor their memories. The “A” represents Andre, my firstborn, who died at just six months old from SIDS.
In the depths of grief, I was prescribed various antidepressants and sleep medications that left me feeling detached from reality. While there are no remedies—natural or man-made—that can truly mend a broken heart, I discovered that nature offers gentle, God-given tools that can help us navigate pain with a bit more ease, without the harsh side effects of pharmaceuticals.
That realization became the seed of N.A.K. Enterprises. As a Food Scientist and graduate of Louisiana State University, I have always been passionate about the science of what we consume. During the pandemic, I earned my Herbalist Certification and began an in-depth study of natural healing remedies. Since then, I’ve continued to explore the ways herbs can restore balance, peace, and wellness in our lives.
